MV Catania Calls at the Port of Brightlingsea

Uniconnection Chartering & Ship’s Agency Ltd was pleased to coordinate the recent port call of the M/V Catania at the Port of Brightlingsea.

The multipurpose dry cargo vessel arrived from Gabès, Tunisia, carrying a shipment of 2,402 tonnes of bulk cement. Arriving on 28 October 2026, the vessel was berthed and discharge operations commenced that afternoon, with the cargo operation completed later that evening.

During the vessel’s stay, Uniconnection also coordinated a crew change and a marine gas oil delivery, supporting the vessel’s operational requirements ahead of departure in the early hours of 29 October.
