Uniconnection Chartering & Ship’s Agency Ltd was pleased to act as Ship’s Agent and Chartrer for the MV FLUVIUS PLYM during her recent call at the Port of Brightlingsea.

The vessel arrived at Brightlingsea on 25 August 2026, with the operation involving the loading of a total 2,969.036 tonnes of cargo, comprising 1,861.316 tonnes of scrap and 1,107.720 tonnes of carbon turnings.

Following her arrival, the pilot boarded at 1015 hours and the vessel was all fast alongside the quay at 1110 hours. Loading commenced shortly afterwards at 1145 hours.

Cargo operations continued over 25, 26 and 27 August, with loading completed at 1140 hours on 27 August. The vessel subsequently sailed from Brightlingsea at 1220 hours, bound for Ferrol, Spain.

The efficient operation demonstrates the continued capability of Brightlingsea Port to handle a diverse range of cargoes and vessel operations, supported by the local port team, pilots, stevedores and ship’s agency services.
