Successful Completion of Scrap Cargo Loading by M/V Wilson Dirdal at Brightlingsea Port
Brightlingsea, UK – July 1, 2025 – Uniconnection Chartering & Ship’s Agency Ltd proudly announces the successful loading and departure of the M/V Wilson Dirdal, which handled a significant shipment of scrap cargo from Brightlingsea to Bilbao Sestao.
The vessel loaded 2 grades of scrap cutts totaling 1,184.605 metric tons. The loading operation was carried out efficiently between October 6 and October 7, 2024, under the management and coordination of Uniconnection’s experienced Port agency team.
The Wilson Dirdal arrived at Brightlingsea in the early hours of October 5, 2024. Following vessel readiness (NOR tendered at 01:50 hours), loading commenced at 07:00 hours on October 6, continuing the next day and concluding at 13:40 hours on October 7. The vessel sailed shortly thereafter at 14:35 hours with pilot on board, ensuring a smooth departure.
