M/V Lyrika Returns to Brightlingsea Following Previous Call in June
Uniconnection Chartering & Ship’s Agency Ltd is pleased to announce the successful return of M/V Lyrika to the Port of Brightlingsea, following a previous call at the same port on 13th June 2025.
The vessel arrived at anchorage on 9th July at 2225 hours, with initial delays due to a non-operational bow thruster. Thanks to the support of the Brightlingsea Port Authority, a replacement starter motor was delivered and installed onboard the same evening, restoring full operational capability. Despite missing the high water and pilot window on 10th July, M/V Lyrika was able to proceed with pilot boarding at 0030 hours on 11th July at the 9 buoy.
She berthed and tendered Notice of Readiness at 0115 hours, and discharge operations commenced shortly after at 0130 hours. The vessel completed discharge by 0425 hours and departed later that day, with pilot onboard at 1245 hours and sailing after swing at 1300 hours.
Uniconnection extends its appreciation to the port authorities, pilotage team, and all stakeholders for their cooperation and professionalism during the vessel’s call.
