Brightlingsea, Essex — 22 October 2025 — Uniconnection Chartering & Ship’s Agency Ltd. is pleased to announce the successful completion of loading operations and departure of the M/V BELLINGSHAUSEN from the Port of Brightlingsea bound for Setúbal-Lisbon, carrying a total cargo of 2,754 metric tons of scrap material.
The vessel, under the command of Captain Sergei Ivanov, loaded two grades of material — HMS 1&2 (2,113.880 mts) and Carbon Steel Turnings (640.120 mts) — with bulkhead separation to ensure safe stowage and optimal balance.
Loading operations commenced on 20 October 2025 at 07:10 hours, with completion achieved on 22 October 2025 at 08:15 hours. Following the final inspection and pilot boarding at 12:15 hours, the M/V BELLINGSHAUSEN departed Brightlingsea at 13:10 hours on 22 October 2025.
